Scholarships to BSED
Financial Aid FAQs
Does BSED offer scholarships or financial aid?
Yes. BSED offers up to 50% scholarship to qualifying families as funds allow. We also accept Childcare Vouchers through the State of Massachusetts.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
To apply for scholarships, please submit the Letter of Financial Aid Determination from the Public Schools of Brookline to Janelle at janelle@bsed.org. The letter will not be sent to BSED by the Public Schools of Brookline.
Janelle will reach out with information about whether or not BSED can offer scholarship based on funds available at the time the letter is received.
Will I get a scholarship if I submit the letter?
BSED does everything it can to accommodate all of our students, but unfortunately, as a private, non-profit, program, our resources are limited. BSED can not guarantee a scholarship, even if you have qualifying documents.
My letter from Brookline says that my child can attend school activities for free, why am I being charged tuition?
BSED is a private, non-profit program who does not receive any funding from the Public Schools of Brookline. BSED uses the Letter of Financial Aid Determination as a qualifying document so as to avoid a lengthy application process, but BSED is not able to provide the same financial assistance as the Public Schools of Brookline.
Does BSED accept vouchers? How do I get one?
Yes! To apply, please visit Child Care Choices of Boston at cccboston.org
Does BSED offer any tuition discounts other than financial need based scholarships?
No, BSED does not offer discounts on tuition.
